We are delighted to announce that the 16^th International Conference on Historical Lexicography and Lexicology (ICHLL 16) will take place at the University of Caen Normandy from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 June 2026.

Following the remarkable 2025 edition in Lisbon, this upcoming conference will continue the ICHLL tradition of scholarly excellence, collegial exchange, and international collaboration.

This edition coincides with a major historical milestone for Caen: the city’s millennial anniversary (1025–2025). Recently renovated for the occasion, Caen offers an exceptional historical and cultural setting for our meeting.
